In Orlando, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Florida, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–2 am. If you’re a donut lover, Voodoo Doughnut is an absolute must-visit. The first thing that stands out is the insane amount of choices available. From classic glazed donuts to over-the-top creations loaded with cereals, candies, frosting, and unique toppings, there’s truly something for everyone. The variety alone makes the experience fun, and it’s nearly impossible to leave with just one donut. What really surprised me was the pricing. Considering the size, creativity, and quality of the donuts, the prices are incredibly reasonable. You get a lot of value for your money, especially when compared to many specialty dessert shops. Of course, none of that would matter if the donuts didn’t taste good… And they absolutely deliver. The donuts are fresh, soft, flavorful, and satisfyingly sweet without being overwhelming. Whether you’re sticking with a classic favorite or trying one of their wild signature creations, every bite feels like a treat. The atmosphere is another highlight. Voodoo Doughnut has a fun, quirky vibe that’s unlike any typical donut shop. The colorful displays, unique decor, and energetic environment make it feel like an attraction as much as a bakery. Voodoo doughnuts had a very short line late at night. They were very organized, my order was ready in less than two minutes. I got the voodoo dozen that comes with a Voodoo Doll (Was a great choice!) The atmosphere was fantastic, with the smells of freshly fried donuts and pastry cream hanging in the air. However, there did not appear to be seating inside and if you were claustrophobic, you might be overwhelmed.

Voodoo Doughnut absolutely lived up to the hype! The atmosphere alone is such a vibe—colorful, fun, and just a really cool spot to stop at. But let’s talk about the donuts… next level. 🍩 We tried a mix, including the voodoo doll and the orange creamsicle, and I totally get why people say they’re must-haves—both were incredible. Everything was fresh, creative, and honestly just as good as it looks (which says a lot). Even with it being busy, the experience was smooth and worth the wait. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a place you have to try at least once… but you’ll probably end up going back 😅

Was curious what the pink boxes people were carrying around. Stopped by this place when the line was finally short enough. This doughnut shop has a great variety of doughnuts! Very pretty to look at too! We bought a dozen and a half to go. Shared with friends who love this place!

Mediocre donuts at premium price. But we had to try it just because of the hype. They were filling and great looking donuts. Ambiance was awesome, with a great looking store. The service was quick even though the line was huge. Would recommend just for the hype.
